Punchinello Teaser

Russell has done the animatic for the Short film "Punchinello", We are really excited about this production and we are very keen to animate this short, but there are steps to complete before we jump into the fun stuff. Here is the short teaser of Punchinello.Happy days!!!

a R&T Production

Me and my friend Russell Laing, have started our own coloboration Logo. The logo stands for "A Russell & Tiaan Film", hence the rat icon. Russell and myself are busy with writing the script and throwing some cool ideas to the mix. I busy with the animatic or storyreel at the moment. We busy seeing what works for the storyreel. Will post some previews of the animatic soon. Until then, keep on animating.

Punchinello Project in Production

Hi, my friend and I have decided to start our own short film called "Punchinello". We are really enthusiastic about this project and want to push our skills to the test. I will keep on updating as we pursue our goal. Later!!!

Face Mocap in Vicon

This is one of my first tests using vicon with facial Mocap. We used 50 markers to setup the face. With all this markers I could export the data out off vicon into a v-file format so that I could use the RAW data in My own writen scripts.

Facial Mocap

I have recently developend a Pipeline for facial mocap. I'm using my own mel scripts to manipulate and clean the mocap data. Here is a example of the setup.
