Hi, my friend and I have decided to start our own short film called "Punchinello". We are really enthusiastic about this project and want to push our skills to the test. I will keep on updating as we pursue our goal. Later!!!
This is one of my first tests using vicon with facial Mocap. We used 50 markers to setup the face. With all this markers I could export the data out off vicon into a v-file format so that I could use the RAW data in My own writen scripts.
I have recently developend a Pipeline for facial mocap. I'm using my own mel scripts to manipulate and clean the mocap data. Here is a example of the setup.
I'm a Techincal Director / Production Supervisor in the Film and advertisement industry over 9 years of experience. I have a Degree in Mulitmedia and a Post Grade in 3D Animation. I'm skilled in Maya, Vicon (Motion Capture), Motion Builder, Scripting pipelines and programming. I also have a programming background in multiple languages C++,Java, XML, HTML,ect. My goal is to develop a robust pipeline for the feature films and improve the production.
I have 4 years experience in Mocap and complex rigging techniques for motion capture. I also worked in "Massive" crowed simulation software and liquid dynamics "RealFlow". I have developed production pipelines and automation at Jock Animation for the feature film and transformed the film in a stereoscopic compatible release . Since "Jock of the bushveld", I have been running a production with a small team and Duncan MacNeillie to start developing new content. My goal is to work in a dynamic, productive and cost effective manner to add as much as possible value to a production and never miss a deadline.
